Football: Live chat at Camden Catholic-Timber Creek

POSTED: Friday, September 7, 2012, 9:19 AM

Follow Friday night's season-opening football game between Camden Catholic and Timber Creek on a live chat at philly.com/rally.

The Inquirer's Phil Anastasia will host the chat, providing play-by-play updates from the game and answering readers' questions.

The WJFL Constitution clash matches No. 3 Camden Catholic against No. 1 Timber Creek. The teams were a combined 22-1 last season and feature some of the top players in the state, including Timber Creek's Dajaun Drennon (North Carolina), Myles Nash (Rutgers) and Zaire Williams (West Virginia) and Camden Catholic's Jarred Alwan (Temple).

The game also will mark the debut of Camden Catholic junior running back J.T. Blyden, a highly touted transfer from Avon Grove (Pa.). Blyden, who ran for 1,100 yards as a sophomore, already has a scholarship offer from Rutgers.

Follow all the action at tonight's much anticipated season opener at philly.com/rally.
