Senior QB Manny Cortez ran for 174 yards and passed for 228 yards as Pennsauken rolled to a 40-8 victory over Washington Township Sunday.

Senior QB Manny Cortez ran for 174 yards and passed for 228 yards as Pennsauken rolled to a 40-8 victory over Washington Township Sunday.

Cortez' three TD passes gave him 25 for the season as Pennsauken built a 40-0 lead midway in the third quarter.

Marques Thornton ran for two TDs and Anthony Sweet caught six passes for 85 yards, kicked four extra points and had an interception for Pennsauken (6-1).

Washington Township dropped to 5-2.
