Girls' soccer: Timber Creek beats Cherokee

Elise Pratt scored two goals and Olivia McEachern collected a goal and two assists as Timber Creek beat Cherokee, 3-0, in the first round of the coaches association girls' soccer tournament.

Elise Pratt scored two goals and Olivia McEachern collected a goal and two assists as Timber Creek beat Cherokee, 3-0, in the first round of the coaches association girls' soccer tournament.

It was the first coaches association tournament victory in program history for Timber Creek.

The fifth-seeded Chargers (9-2-1) advanced to face the winner of Moorestown-Eastern in the second round on Friday night.

Cherokee (6-6) was the No. 12 seed.
