Pete DiPol, who turned Haddonfield into a wrestling power, has left the Colonial Conference school to become the wrestling coach at Gloucester County College.

DiPol, who also coached at Camden Catholic -- where his teams were perennially among the best in South Jersey -- as well as Edgewood and Schalick is a bit of a coaching nomad.

He takes over a Gloucester County program that has been among the top Division III (no scholarships) junior college programs in the country.

DiPol turned Haddonfield into a South Jersey power that went toe-to-toe with Paulsboro in recent seasons. The Bulldogs beat Paulsboro at Paulsboro last season although the Red Raiders turned the tables in the South Jersey Group 1 final.
