Thanksgiving where the turkeys are the guests

President Obama granted two lucky turkeys a life at historic Mt. Vernon today when he bestowed upon them the annual presidential pardon.

But Peace and Liberty aren't the only turkeys who were not only spared but doted on this holiday.

At Farm Sanctuary in Watkins Glen, NY  26th annual  "Feeding of the Turkeys Day,"  fowl lovers got a chance to share the bounty with their feathered friends.

NPR has more on the turkeys' Turkey Day.

Farm Sanctuary also runs an Adopt-A-Turkey program - the spokeswoman this year is Ellen Degeneres - where adopters can sponsor a rescued bird for a onetime fee of $30.
