Packers, hackers. Steelers, schmeelers. The real must-see athletic event this Sunday is the annual Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet.

Animals lovers will be flopping down on their sofas at 3 p.m. for Puppy Bowl VII to determine the fastest, toughest pups in the land.

Unlike the NFL Super Bowl players, the 20 puppies taking the field tomorrow will all be looking for homes after their playing days are over (Sunday evening).

Pet Finder,,  the largest online, searchable database of adoptable pets is the temporary “home team” of all the Puppy Players. This year, for the first time in Puppy Bowl history, all the action will air in a native 3-D version that will premiere on "3net" — the new 3-D network joint venture of Discovery Communications, Sony and IMAX. Also new this year, viewers can watch the action directly from the puppy's point-of-view with the new Puppy Cam. For more videos, including behind-the-scenes and the making of Puppy Bowl, go to Animal Planet's Puppy Bowl main page.
