    I have a 5 1/2 year old female Great Dane who is very agreeable and easy to train. My problem is she's afraid of strangers (she'll bark and hide under a table when they come into the house) or anything she's not familar with - new furniture, big boxes (then she'll just hide). She has no history of abuse. Is there anything I can do to help her improve her confidence?
