Bo Obama's trainer tells all

POSTED: Thursday, October 21, 2010, 9:42 AM

What was the closest held secret of President Obama's inaugural year? The Iraq war strategy? No. It was what dog was going to be the First Companion.

Now we hear for the first time from the woman who trained Bo Obama (ok, we know Bo may not look like he's passed any etiquette tests when he drags the president across the White House lawn, but Dawn Sylvia Staciewicz has an explanation for that.)

In an interview with Politico, Staciewicz talks about hiding Bo in an undisclosed location ahead of the announcement, her surprise to learn that it was the Kennedy's who were the matchmakers between Bo and the Obamas, and how Bo befriended a parrot.
