You could win $100,000 at a Sixers game this season
With the Sixers set to struggle for the second straight season, the organization might have some trouble selling seats in the Wells Fargo Center. The Sixers were second to last in the league last season in average and total attendance, ahead of only the Bucks from smaller market Milwaukee, and a similar situation could be expected this season.
A new partnership between the Sixers and Sugarhouse Casino may help fill some seats on certain evenings however.
"We are proud to add SugarHouse Casino to our growing roster of partners as we work with them in providing our fans with unique assets and events," Sixers Chief Revenue Officer Chris Heck stated. "We look forward to tipping off our road season with SugarHouse on October 29 and building together valuable parts of our in-game experience here in Philadelphia."
As a partner, during 10 home games throughout the season, Sugarhouse will host 'Buzzle Beater Challenges,' that will give a lucky fan an opportunity to participate in a shooting challenge for a $100,000 prize. The challenges will go down during a break in action, and they will occur on the dates listed below:
Sat., Nov. 1 vs. Miami
Fri., Nov. 7 vs. Chicago
Mon., Dec. 1 vs. San Antonio
Fri., Dec. 5 vs. Oklahoma City
Mon., Dec. 15 vs. Boston
Wed., Jan.21 vs. NYK
Mon., Feb. 9 vs. Golden State
Wed., Mar. 11 vs. Chicago
Mon., Mar. 30 vs. LAL
So, if just watching the Sixers young talent develop in person isn't enticing enough, now, on those select evenings, there will be an added incentive to attend.
