Weather, beer situation at Soldier Field growing dire

UPDATE: Hooray, the game will return at 2:25!

Not every home team was winning 17-0 at halftime. At Soldier Field, the Bears and Ravens aren't even playing, due to the opening of the heavens.

But the situation is even grimmer under the roof, where concession stands have ceased operations for a sadly legitimate reason.

Was just told by Soldier Field employee that concessions were stopped because TOO MUCH beer was being sold.

The game is officially suspended now, and we can only consider ourselves lucky that we are not among the huddled masses, yearning for sustenance, receiving none. Meanwhile, the desolate Chicago winter deathscape awaits them in the coming weeks, and all they wanted was to enjoy a football game to harvest the warm memories necessary for surviving the season.

But no! No. Once more, punishment.
