Job opening: Part-time position with Philly.com Sports

Philly.com Sports, named a top-10 newspaper website by the Associated Press Sports Editors, is looking for a part-time content producer to join our online team.

Responsibilities for this position include updating the website, building image galleries, writing engaging headlines and handling breaking news.

Previous work in journalism, especially experience in an online environment, is strongly preferred, though recent college graduates will be considered. Candidates for this position must display sound editorial judgement and a strong grasp of AP style.

The ability to work with a content management system is a plus, as is a familiarity with Photoshop and Final Cut Pro.

Note: This is not a writing position.

The opening is for 29 hours/week, and night/weekend shifts may be required.

Interested candidates should send a resume and cover letter to philly.comsports@gmail.com.
