WWE Money in the Bank 2013 results: Curtis Axel defeats The Miz to retain the Intercontinental Championship

ECW fans were disappointed from the start as The Miz was lying outside and pretended he was hit by Axel's manager Paul Heyman.

Heyman was promptly ejected by the official. The two combatants went back and forth until The Miz locked in the Figure Four.

Axel reversed the move by flipping The Miz over, but Miz rolled back over and locked it back in. Axel got to the ropes and broke the hold.

Axel then hit a modified neck breaker to retain his title.
