Tony Romo believes Cowboys will face Patriots in Super Bowl

A comment to Tom Brady indicated Tony Romo sees his 2-3 Cowboys heading to the Super Bowl.

The NFC East is full of potential playoff teams, but not because of its high bar for talent, success, or luck. It's because the two teams expected to contend, the Eagles and Cowboys, have bumbled thus far, suffering from disappointing starts and injuries to key players such as Dez Bryant and Tony Romo.

Entering Week 6, the Giants have the divisional lead with a 3-2 record, but they are trailed by three 2-3 teams, all hoping they have enough real estate to fall backward into the top spot. Tony Romo, his arm in a sling courtesy of a broken left clavicle, seems confident that that team will be Dallas, as he informed Tom Brady while leaving the field after the Patriots' 30-6 drudging of the Cowboys.

Brady flashes him a fleeting smile, then turns away to keep shaking hands after his stellar performance. Romo headed to the locker room presumably to give Brandon Weeden and Matt Cassel the pep talk of their lives. After all, not only are the Cowboys headed to Super Bowl 50 in his mind, but they'll be facing the best of the AFC in Tom Brady and the defending-champion Patriots, coached by black-robed Bill Belichick and the murder of vicious crows that seems to follow him.

Then again, maybe Romo and Brady are going on vacation together after the season. That's fun.
