WATCH: Minnesota Timberwolves mascot Crunch beats Miami Heat's Harlem Shake

The Miami Heat made a splash last week when they released their own adaptation of the popular dance the "Harlem Shake."

The team-wide effort, which included Mario Chalmers dressed as Super Mario and Dwayne Wade wearing a bear mask, was so entertaining that many media outlets declared it the best version of the video yet.

Not everyone was so impressed with the Heat's silly side however, and you can add the Minnesota Timberwolves to the list of people who have grown tired of the Heat's Harlem shaking.

The Heat and Timberwolves played in a fairly physical game Monday night, which saw Miami continue on its record-setting winning streak. Apparently, Crunch, Minnesota's mascot, had some extra aggression to let out after the disappointing defeat.

In a video released by the Timberwolves' YouTube account on Tuesday, Crunch beats the Heat's Harlem Shake; with a bat.

It is difficult to tell if Crunch is more upset about the Heat's success on the court or about their video going viral, but his distaste for the defending champions is clear.

Albeit interesting, it is kind of awesome to see a struggling team take aim at the champs in such a manner, and the spoof is sure to put a smile on Wolves fans' faces in the midst of another marginal season in Minnesota.

While the Timberwolves get a laugh today, it could be the Heat smiling this summer as they chase their second straight championship.
