2012 it the year of garrett's curse for the Eagles in the NFL (Nepotism Football League). AlwaysRight
I'm not sure if I will ever see the Eagles win a SB. But, I am sure that Reid will never win a SB no matter where he coaches. For better or worse, I can't wait to try something new. At least the Eagles will have a fighting chance after he is gone. chocolatethunder
Hey AlwaysRight, You are a disgrace... biagio77
To all the HATERS who hated McNabb, now hate Reid - who's next? I supported Reid, but I now am fully aware it is time for Andy to move on. But the point the Dopey 30 & Media types don't understand is it's not getting better just because Andy goes. This team hasn't drafted top 10 or top half of draft talent due to Andy's success....which has given us picks in the later half of each round. Eventually it catches up with a team. And name a top team without an elite QB. Difficult, huh? We need a real GM (Polian?) and a young coach to give us a fresh start (O'Brien -PSU a Yale grad & Belichick guy)? TruthTeller01
I almost forgot....STEPHEN 1988....get a clue. I've been watching Eagles Football since before you were born. Jerry Williams, Ed Khayat, Mike McCormick, *Dick Vermeil, Marion Campbell, Buddy Ryan, Rich Kotite, Ray Rhodes all preceded Andy Reid. With the exception of Vermeil, who was a great coach (NO LOMBARDI FOR US THOUGH) whom would you like to go back to? The Reid era, sans a Lombardi, has been our best era since the 1960 Championship or Vermeil's run in the late 70's. Have some perspective little guy! TruthTeller01- STEPHEN 1988 just wants a guy with good clock management or good post game speeches because that's what wins bowl and that's why Andy sucks! I mean look at Rex Ryan, he has great post game speeches, even guaranteed a super bowl twice! Now the jets are a success on and off field! Or maybe we should get a clock management guy like josh mcdaniels. So what if he took Tebow in the 1st round, he doesn't waste timeouts like Andy! Fire Andy!

Lurie should put these quotes on a plaque and give it to Reid as he exits the door for the last time. fanup
Who gives a F**K!!! You people are so stupid writing about this loser team! Pick a team that actually can win a game!!! MRD
That's a football coach at Penn State. O'Brien leads the team to an 8-4 mark. Penn state had a back run the ball 36 times in the game vs Wisconsin for 176 yards. Running the ball can work Andy but of course, you know better.
The eagles have an all pro back and won't even give it to him 20 times. The eagles are pass happy, turn the ball over and lose.
Penn state runs the ball 36 times for one back and wins.

To all the Andy Reid backers: your statistics about being the "most winning coach in Eagle's history" will be awesome ten years from now when some Giants fan asks you how many Super Bowls he won. The surface arguments are bunk: he can NEVER beat an above average coach. Using the offensive line injuries is a poor excuse to save his career as is the firing of Juan Castillo...which was a MORONIC idea to begin with putting him in that position. When Juan was fired, the eagles were averaging 16 points a game....SIXTEEN POINTS. Clearly not the defenses fault. On top of that, they had just held three top RB's to under 100 yards. But, keep falling for his smokescreens and stay adulterated by his arrogance and we'll stay the best fan base with the best coach with the best 8-8 teams for the next five years...even though he will eventually do a better job of putting guys in position to make better plays. He will still be the best at not-fooling defensive coordinators with his obvious play calling and fool the rest of the NFL by drafting undersized players and making them change their positions or style of play. Thanks for the 7 years of winning and then steering the ship towards the shore when the division got better....but it's time to go: they have ham sandwiches in Cleveland too, Andy. And take Marty with you. girouxforpresident
Hey moron....The Eagles will never win as many Super Bowls as the Giants! Are you on drugs???? MRD
didn't he also say," what, me worry?" haha tmq
Girouxforpresident...why do you contradict yourself? Andy utilized Westbrook like the mule he was! The guy ran the ball, caught the ball & returned punts! What did you want, him playing CB, too? (Are you one of those idiots who claim Shady (8th in carries, 4th in touches in NFL) is "underutilized" too?) "McNabb was a running QB"...?!?....YEAH..THAT'S WHY HE RAN SO MUCH! What game do you watch without your rose-colored glasses (btw, Giroux plays hockey, dope!)? kdawg
"I wasn't aware that that occurred." That is what Reid said after the Eagles lost the Super Bowl and Big Fraud was asked how the Eagles ran out of time in the first half when they got the ball back with 1:42 on the clock and two timeouts, and time expired with the Eagles on the Patriots 45 and the Eagles hasn't used either of their timeouts. That was when I knew beyond and shadow of a doubt that Reid would never win a Super Bowl. PASunDevil
