Sixers mock draft roundup

With the NBA draft rapidly approaching, here's a roundup of mocks, along with projections for the Sixers at No. 15.

Now, on to the others:

Matt Moore of CBSSports.com has the Sixers going with Mississippi State forward Arnett Moultrie:

The Sixers are just happy there's a center left at this position. They quietly take their wares and go home, like a mother who found an acceptable cooking pot in the first bin she looked in at the flea market.

Jeff Goodman of CBSSports.com thinks it'll be Moultrie also:

The 76ers need someone who can rebound the ball. That's what Moultrie does best -- and he can also score a little bit as well.

Steve Henson of Rotoworld.com has the Sixers going with North Carolina forward John Henson:

Elton Brand is getting older and the Sixers could use a defensive banger to replace him. Henson should be just that. If they don't go with Henson here, Terrence Jones would be another solid option.

Scott Howard-Cooper of NBA.com projects Kentucky's Terrence Jones to the Sixers:

Jones, considered a possibility to go high in the lottery last season, has a lot of talent hidden in there somewhere. It's a reasonable risk this late.

Joe Kotoch of SheridanHoops.com thinks the Sixers will take Baylor's Perry Jones III:

Jones is perhaps the biggest enigma in the draft because he has great size and special talent but never played to his potential in college. However, he is very skilled and comfortable facing the basket. Philadelphia is considering wings as well but finding an eventual replacement for Elton Brand is more important, especially considering Jones' ability.

Draft Express also has the Sixers taking Jones.

And so does Chad Ford of ESPN.com:

Jones might be the toughest player in the draft to project right now. Everyone is both scared to take him and scared not to take him. (I've heard the same assessment from a number of NBA GMs the past few weeks.)

HoopsHype.com thinks it'll be Moultrie:

They went big with Nikola Vucevic last year and could look to bolster their frontcourt once again with a player like Moultrie. One of the most athletic bigs in the country, Moultrie is a force on the glass and scores in a variety of ways. He can even step out and bury college three pointers. With great length and agility, Moultrie is an intriguing option for teams looking for size and athleticism. The two big complaints about him are his attitude and lack of strength.

Gene Wang of The Washington Post has the Sixers going with Kentucky's Jones:

Versatile interior presence is skilled passer, defender and rebounder who comes from winning tradition at Kentucky.

Sam Amick of SI.com thinks it'll be Jones too:

The Sixers don't have any big men locked up beyond next season except reserve rookie center Nikola Vucevic. Jones could evolve into a long-term frontcourt solution who could play power forward and possibly some small forward (opinions vary there). Jones is a good passer, defender and rebounder who averaged 12.3 points (on 50 percent shooting from the field and 32.7 percent on three-pointers), 7.2 rebounds and 1.3 steals last season for the national champion Wildcats.

Steve Kyler of USA Today has the Sixers going with Moe Harkless from St. John's:

Great length and athleticism. Solid foot work and size. Effective with the ball in his hands. Prefers facing up offensively.
