Scott Fujita retires from atop Machu Picchu, holds press conference

It is safe to say that linebacker Scott Fujita, who announced his retirement from the NFL on Monday after 11 successful seasons, went out on top.

Literally.

Fujita, who played his last several seasons with the Cleveland Browns after stints with the Chiefs, Cowboys, and Saints, announced he was “reaching the end of the road” at Machu Picchu in Peru.

Fujita, currently on an exploring expedition of the Andes with former Saints teammate Steve Gleason, signed a one-day contract with the Saints on Monday in order to retire with the team he helped lead to victory in Super Bowl XLIV.
