San Francisco Giants pitcher Tim Lincecum cuts his hair

POSTED: Friday, February 8, 2013, 5:04 PM

San Francisco Giants pitcher Tim Lincecum no longer looks like actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt circa 1996 on the tv show 3rd Rock from the Sun or actor Wiley Wiggins from the movie Dazed and Confused.

Why? Because the Giants’ pitcher cut off his hair in preparation for the 2013 MLB season, as seen in a picture the league tweeted out on Friday.

As a huge hockey fan, I think I’ll miss his nice flow, but you have to admit that with shorter hair he looks like a completely different person.

Although, you have to wonder, does the hair make the man? Or will Lincecum's hair cut affect his ability to pitch for the giants?

Always thought that he looked like a major chick. In fact, I was at a Giants-Phils game seated next to a chick that looked exactly like Lincecum....and she wasn't too bad.
Must've been rough for his wife, assuming he's married, to have a husband that is prettier than you are.

    Whoa ... what a difference. I don't think he's married Bosox.

I wonder if he can make his way back to the rotation.

BosoxJohnny, there's a Seinfeld episode where George's girl looks very much like Jerry, creating conflicting issues for Georgie and his sexuality. Not that there's anything wrong with that!

I think the years spent throwing ultra hard in such a slight body has finally caught up to this once great pitcher....

MLB needs to update PED testing to include the cutting edge, new PEDs. Then line up the pee cups for the rest of the Giants.

    He's maturing.

Unlike some of the posters here.

Personally, I would like to see him have a Cy Young season.
