The 35-year-old looking Nationals third baseman Ryan Zimmerman turned 29 in September, but his hallmark birthday present from his wife, Heather, wasn't apparently hooked up until a few days ago.

The 35-year-old looking Nationals third baseman Ryan Zimmerman turned 29 in September, but his hallmark birthday present from his wife, Heather, wasn't apparently hooked up until a few days ago. 

Which, as anyone can see, was well worth the wait. If they've got RBI Baseball on a big screen and a functioning NES down there, then that's not an unfinished basement anymore.

RBI Baseball, of course, was the somewhat flawed baseball game from the 8-bit era that was flawed in the sense that they hadn't quite hammered out all the bugs in baseball video games yet.
