"Sloppy, intimidated, and scared," a British tabloid called England's play in their World Cup match against Uruguay.
It was their second loss, following a 2-1 defeat to Italy, and left them praying for a series of evetns outside of their control in order to stave off elimination. One of the events was Italy beating Costa Rica, the opposite of which happened Friday, kicking England out of the tournament.
Naturally, hearts are breaking all over, including inside the chest cavity of CNN show host and British national Piers Morgan, whose shifting allegiance from his home country to his adopted one was announced publicly for some reason.
I am now supporting the USA in this World Cup.

Even though you can basically hear Morgan saying the words in a totally defeated, disgusted twist of his accent, it's not even the most downtrodden tweet of his ever.
I want to die.
