Philly.com wins Top 10 honors among sports news sites

Philly.com, the Web home of the Philadelphia Inquirer and the Philadelphia Daily News, has been named one of the best newspaper sports sites in the nation by the Associated Press Sports Editors.

Philly.com, the Web home of The Philadelphia Inquirer and the Philadelphia Daily News, has been named one of the best newspaper sports sites in the nation by the Associated Press Sports Editors.

The site was selected as a Top 10 site among large sites, which includes all those with more than 1 million unique visitors a month. The awards were announced early Saturday morning.

The rest of the Top 10 were the sites of the Boston Globe, the Los Angeles Times, the Miami Herald, the New York Daily News, the New York Times, the Oklahoman, the St. Petersburg Times, USA Today and the Washington Post.
