Phillies may employ former nemesis Brian Wilson

So the Phillies are going to watch former Giants closer Brian Wilson throw a bullpen session this week on the off chance that this team has an open slot for another closer with a *big* personality. Wilson, of course, is the 2010 Giants alum whose meteoric rise to popularity was due to his beard-covered face and penchant for being all wacky.

Also being scouted by the Phillies are Joe Carter, Hideki Matsui, any surviving members of the 1977 Dodgers, and Ryan Howard's un-ripped apart Achilles tendon.

Let's see if this clip has gotten any easier to watch over time!

Hey speaking of the Giants, they just played a weird game in which they were the away team in their own park, which the league says is due to a scheduling conflict at Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati, but what we all know was a vain attempt at trying to get the sea gulls to menace somebody else for a change.
