Phillies may employ former nemesis Brian Wilson

So the Phillies are going to watch former Giants closer Brian Wilson throw a bullpen session this week on the off chance that this team has an open slot for another closer with a *big* personality. Wilson, of course, is the 2010 Giants alum whose meteoric rise to popularity was due to his beard-covered face and penchant for being all wacky.

Also being scouted by the Phillies are Joe Carter, Hideki Matsui, any surviving members of the 1977 Dodgers, and Ryan Howard’s un-ripped apart Achilles tendon.

Let’s see if this clip has gotten any easier to watch over time!

Hey, wow! Not even close.

Hey speaking of the Giants, they just played a weird game in which they were the away team in their own park, which the league says is due to a scheduling conflict at Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati, but what we all know was a vain attempt at trying to get the sea gulls to menace somebody else for a change.

EVERYONE'S SO ANGRY

WELCOME TO ‘SPORTS SHOUT,’ THE SHOW WHERE WE TAKE A NEWS TOPIC AND USE IT TO PROJECT OUR LOUD, PERSONAL FEELINGS ABOUT EACH OTHER.

TODAY’S TOPIC IS ‘SHOULD BILL BELICHICKS APOLOGIZE FOR AARON HERNANDEZ FOR SOME REASON?’ AND TODAY’S FEELINGS ARE THAT CSN NEW ENGLAND ANALYST KIRK MINIHANE HATES FELLOW ANALYST GARY TANGUAY.

WE’VE ALL GOT FEELINGS. AND IT’S UP TO SPORTS SHOUT TO SHOUT THEM AT YOU.

IT'S ALMOST AS IF IT'S UNREALISTIC

Guys… I’m starting to think Aaron Rodgers isn’t going to make good on this one.

LIFETIME GUARANTEE

Alex Rodriguez has never been reprimanded for his PED use, so there are those who think perhaps his punishment from MLB won’t be as severe.

Just kidding, it's A-Rod - MLB knows there's nobody coming to save him.

Well, if they’re going to the cupboard for one lifetime ban, can’t they just grab a second one for this guy.

ABOUT TIME SOMEBODY TOOK THOSE DOLPHINS DOWN

There’s a new Anchorman 2 trailer, with the only difference from the first one being a sequence in which Ron and Champ discuss throwing Brick off a bridge. The best part is still Will Ferrell mocking a dolphin.
