Penn State grad Tamba Hali recalls growing up in Liberia

Chiefs linebacker and Penn State alum Tamba Hali went on Dan LeBatard's show "Highly Questionable" and described growing up in Liberia and the threats he faced on a regular basis.

"I remember fleeing our village, going to a neighboring village for hiding. Rememebr planes on top of our village, shooting down, looking fore cover somewhere in the house. And I remember leaving the country and going to Ivory Coast, crossing the border."

Especially harrowing is Hali talking about standing up in the back of a truck as a child and screaming at assailants to stop shooting until his mother yanked him down.
