49ers linebacker Patrick Willis killed what Deadspin identified as a "nonvenomous gopher snake" outside his home today, proudly posting pictures of his conquest on Facebook, where commenters were free to make all the anti-gun, or racist, or Benghazi-related replies they wanted.

"Never a dull moment," Willis wrote. "...welcome to life in the hills."

Though when it comes to guns and animals, the least dull moments probably belong to Eagles linebacker Trent Cole, whose hunts tend to conclude with decidedly more picture-worthy images.
