Former Phillie Mike Sweeney turns 40 today, celebrating a life of inspiring bro-grabs.

Sweeney was in Philadelphia for a brief blip in time, but being the god-fearing, affectionate fellow he was, his combination with the traditionally coarse Phillies fanbase seemed curious.

Helped by the fact that 2010 was still a year when the Phillies were in first place and everyone was in a far better mood, Sweeney squeezed his way into Philly, spawning a Facebook page and an inactive Twitter account.

But all of his memorable embraces culminated one fateful night with a future star...
