Mexican announcer loves U.S.A. for beating Panama

The Mexican soccer team dropped a 2-1 match to Costa Rica Tuesday, pushing them to the brink of elimination from the World Cup.

Meanwhile, the U.S. was down 2-1 as well against Panama, who, if they could climb over the Americans, would advance in the standings and cut Mexico out of the picture. But the U.S. fired 1-2 punches in stoppage time, featuring a header from Graham Zusi and the clincher from Aron Johansson to give them the 3-2 win.

With Panama now eliminated, Mexico still qualified for the World Cup and will face off against New Zealand. At least one Mexican announcer was eternally grateful. His words are translated [correctly?] here, and apparently, the announcer did not hold back when it came to blasting the Mexican team and heaping praise upon the Americans.

"Love" may be a strong word, though; like the word some in Mexico use to describe the current state of Washington.
