Mets prospect weirdly denies scorpion bite

Cory Vaughn, the son of Greg Vaughn, is currently in Arizona, participating in the Arizona Fall League as a Scottsdale Scorpion. The dangers of being in Arizona presented themselves to Vaugh, however, in the form of a nasty scorpion bite that turned his knee into a kaleidoscope of incorrect colors.

This... this is what happens when you don't respect the scorpions. Weird, though, that Vaughn, thirteen minutes earlier, credited the wound to "running into a wall."
