If you were over by Rittenhouse Square at lunchtime on Tuesday, you might have noticed a bunch of guys in tight shorts and shirts tossing a football around.

If you were over by Rittenhouse Square at lunchtime on Tuesday, you might have noticed a bunch of guys in tight shorts and shirts tossing a football around.

No, the NFL hasn't suddenly changed its rules. What you saw was a demonstration of rugby ahead of the college Rugby Sevens tournament at PPL Park on June 1 and 2.

It's the third straight year in a row that Philadelphia has gotten to host the event. Twenty teams will participate, including six local colleges and a bunch of national rugby powers.
