Lindsay Lohan dating former Eagles quarterback?

Donovan McNabb, Michael Vick, Kevin Kolb and Vince Young have all made headlines, for better or worse, over the past decade as a quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Donovan McNabb, Michael Vick, Kevin Kolb and Vince Young have all made headlines, for better or worse, over the past decade as quarterbacks for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Now "former Birds QB" Matt Nordgren (wait, who?) is making a splash, after a report that he is dating actress Lindsay Lohan was published over the weekend.

But who the heck is Matt Nordgren?

The 30-year-old was Vince Young's backup at the University of Texas, throwing a total of 14 passes and one interception in two years. He also spent three weeks with the Eagles before he was cut from the team's roster in 2006.

Page Six recently asked Nordgren about the rumors regarding his potential ties with Lohan. He responded, "We've hung out. But I have been a friend trying to support her for many years now."

The report says the two met about seven years ago through mutual friends in Los Angeles, where Nordgren is currently pursuing a career in acting.

On the romance front, the athlete-turned-actor has dabbled in his share of reality TV hook-ups, with links to Hills star Audrina Patridge and The Bachelor's Vienna Girardi. He was inaccurately tied to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong in 2011.

Nordgren's most-visible relationship, however, was with former best friend-turned-flame, Courtney Kerr, who also starred on Bravo's defunct reality TV series, Most Eligible Dallas. The show, which followed a group of young, attractive and moderately-successful friends in Dallas, only lasted for one season.

Kerr, who runs a fashion blog, meanwhile seems to have moved on from her days doting over Nordgren. The sassy personality tweeted in response to an inquisitive fan who requested her feedback on the Lohan report: "Lindsay is more than welcome to help herself to my discarded suitors. Best of luck to them!"

Kerr stars in her own Bravo spinoff series, Courtney Loves Dallas, which is slated to debut sometime this year.
