Kate Upton graces the cover of Sports Illustrated's swimsuit issue for the second year in a row
Just when you thought sports fans were in need of some cheering up now that football season is over, Sports Illustrated and Kate Upton are here to rescue us all.
There was supposed to be a formal announcement made on Monday's "Late Night with David Letterman," but unfortunately for SI and Letterman, but fortunately for everyone else, the cover was leaked early Friday.
Needless to say people are pleased with the result.
Upton graced the cover SI's swimsuit issue last year in a warm climate in a nice string bikini.
But that was so 2012.
In 2013, Upton and SI attempted to raise the bar as she braved the low temperatures of Antarctica to give fans a...let's say bone-chilling display.
The 20-year-old model is now the ninth women to be on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue twice.
The Michigan native was also in a popular Super Bowl commercial so it has been a good couple of weeks for Upton — and for those who like to look at her as well.
