Jersey has been through a lot since Sandy destroyed several shore points. Sports Illustrated was kind enough to put it through a little more.

Jersey has been through a lot since Sandy destroyed several shore points.

Sports Illustrated was kind enough to put it through a little more.

Cape May charmed the models who came to town for photo shoots, and the models in turn charmed Cape May as they took pictures posing with the town sign, ice cream, and other things that people often hold or stand next to.

It was an "intimidating" shoot that required the presence of at least 15 bike cops (who may or may not have been volunteers) to keep the more "playful" gawkers at bay.

But most of all, the goal was to shine a light on the beautiful Jersey beach line, and how far it has come in the wake of relentless disaster.
