Through the power of social media, MLB seems to have been made aware of their glaring error and pulled the Roy Halladay bobblehead doll.

Can Roy Halladay throw lefthanded? Major League Baseball seems to think so. In a bizarre merchandising snafu first brought to light by the crack investigative team at Zoo with Roy, MLB is selling Roy Halladay bobblehead dolls depicting the Phillies' righthanded Cy Young winner with a ball in his left hand and a glove on his right.

Oddly enough, the doll — depicted mid-windup — has its left leg lifted, as a righthander would, and is facing the same direction on the mound that a righty would, so it's a rather strange gaffe.

ESPN's Buster Olney recently tweeted a surprising fact about Texas Rangers pitcher Yu Darvish, revealing that the 25-year-old, who is listed as a righthander, is in fact ambidextrous. Maybe MLB knows something we don't about Halladay? But I'm guessing that's a no.

On the bright side, the discombobulated bobblehead is listed as a clearance item.
