Renaud Lavillenie was competing in the "Pole Vault Stars" event in Donetsk, eastern Ukraine, when he suddenly set an insane new world record for the sport.

Renaud Lavillenie was competing in the "Pole Vault Stars" event in Donetsk, eastern Ukraine, when he suddenly set an insane new world record for the sport.

Lavillenie flew 6.16 meters, which makes sense if you live in any country other than America. To us, he vaulted 20.2 American feet. Still impressive; also, more.
