Fantasy stars and stiffs from Sunday

Fantasy stars, stiffs and surprises of Week 3 through Sunday's games. And how do the Packers score 34 points and get virtually nothing out of Randall Cobb? Sigh.

Came up big

Trevor Siemian, QB, Broncos: 312 yards, four touchdowns, no interceptions.

Aaron Rodgers, QB, Packers: 205 yards, four touchdowns, no picks.

Jameis Winston, QB, Buccaneers: 405 yards, three TDs, one INT.

LeSean McCoy, RB, Bills: 110 rushing yards, three catches, two TDs.

Marvin Jones, WR, Lions: Six catches, 205 yards, two TDs.

Emmanuel Sanders, WR, Broncos: Nine catches, 117 yards, two TDs.

Chiefs defense/special teams: Six interceptions, two TDs.

Vikings defense/special teams: Three INTs, eight sacks, TD, safety.

Let us down

Carson Palmer, QB, Cardinals: Four INTs, no touchdowns.

DeAngelo Williams, RB, Steelers: 44 total yards.

Ryan Mathews, RB, Eagles: Two carries, -5 yards.

C.J. Anderson, RB, Broncos: 41 total yards.

Kelvin Benjamin, WR, Panthers: One target, zero receptions.

Randall Cobb, WR, Packers: One catch, 33 yards.

The replacements

There was severe upheaval in the fantasy running back position after Week 2. Here's a look at how those changes shook out:

*Minnesota: Jerick McKinnon had 45 yards on 16 carries and no TDs.

*Carolina: Cameron Artis-Payne had 12 of the 19 rushing attempts among Panthers RBs. CAP managed just 47 yards. Fozzy Whittaker (5-22) had it even worse as Carolina's offense looked ragged over the last three quarters.

*Detroit: Theo Riddick had 10 carries for just nine yards, but his seven catches (for just 39 yards) helped PPR owners. Teammate Dwayne Washington also had 10 carries, but for just 38 yards.

*Miami: Anybody who started Jay Ajayi and won a close game owes a big thanks to Cody Parkey. The Browns (and former Eagles) kicker missed a field goal at the end of regulation, and Ajayi won it with an 11-yard TD run in overtime. It was the only highlight among his 28 rushing yards.

*Baltimore: Terrance West (10-45) had more work than Justin Forsett (7-20), but both pigged it up.

*Seattle: Christine Michael had 20 carries, 106 yards and a pair of scores as the Seahawks offense finally showed some life. Now they wait to see about quarterback Russell Wilson's knee injury.

*Tampa Bay: Charles Sims had a decent day with 55 rushing yards and a TD and had six catches for 69 more yards.

Odds and ends

*Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham still hasn't scored a touchdown.

*Browns wide receiver Terrell Pryor was targeted 14 times by rookie quarterback Cody Kessler. He had eight catches for 144 yards.

*The untimed down at the end of the Chargers-Colts game resulted in an extra 20-yard completion from Philip Rivers to Travis Benjamin. Though a meaningless play in the actual game, it increased Rivers' passing yards to 330 and Benjamin's receptions-yards to 4-82.

*The Steelers will get back suspended running back Le'Veon Bell for this week's home game against Kansas City.

*The Eagles and Packers have byes in Week 4.
