Eagles had curious, ineffective strategy for Peyton Manning

Peyton Manning has made himself known as an advocate for trucks, sports drinks, pizza, phones, whatever. You could spend an entire injury timeout with Peyton Manning, and he doesn't even have to be playing in the game.

Manning has also made himself known as the guy whose thrown 16 touchdowns and zero interceptions in the first four games of the NFL season. So the Eagles defense knew they'd have to try something a little less orthodox to throw him off.

This plan, like all other Eagles' plans that day, was a bad plan.
