Remember the fantastic 'This is SportsCenter' commercials ESPN ran constantly to promote their flagship product? The ones starring people like Jimmy Rollins, Jim Harbaugh, the Syracuse Orange, Stephen King, Arnold Palmer, the Mannings, the Phillie Phanatic (with some other guy), and dozens upon dozens of others.
Well, they never went away, but as the spotlight dimmed on the personalities of The World Wide Leader's stars, the quality of the commercials hasn't been quite up to par with the "Big Buddy Program" and "Overseas Market"spots of old.
That all changed today as ESPN posted their latest commercial starring NFL analyst and "consummate pro" John Clayton. It's an absolute home run. Well done, Bristol. Well done.
