Chris Pronger sends a message to Ben Eager

The Flyers' defenseman feels your pain.

During those final, frenetic minutes of last night's Flyers game, I could tell that fans in our live chat were getting pretty agitated. And it wasn't just because of Antti Niemi's ridiculous goaltending.

As The Inquirer's Phil Sheridan noted in his postgame column, the Blackhawks responded to the Flyers' physicality with a few broadsides of their own. Brent Seabrook, Brent Sopel and former Flyers enforcer Ben Eager pestered Philadelphia all night, and Eager added insult to injury by scoring the game-winning goal.

Well, Chris Pronger was right there with you. He had a few words with the referees after the final horn, then sent a different kind of message to Eager as both players left the ice.

If only Pronger's teammates had aimed that well when they sent some of those pucks across the crease last night...
