Cardinals safety loses part of finger during game

During a home game against Detroit, Cardinals free safety Rashad Johnson trotted off the field on Sunday to deal with some discomfort in his right hand. Removing his glove, he, along with any trainers watching, was most likely surprised to find that the top of his middle finger stayed in the glove.

"Johnson had surgery after the game to shave his finger down to the first knuckle, according to the report. The bone was exposed so infection is a possible concern."
