Allen Iverson reportedly returns kids to wife Tawanna

Keeping up with Allen Iverson's off-court transgressions is beginning to become as difficult as it was to keep up with him on the court.

Yesterday reports surfaced that Iverson was accused by his ex-wife Tawanna of abducting their children and holing up with them in a hotel somewhere in Georgia, refusing to return them on a designated swap date.

A reporter from NBC Atlanta took a trip to the hotel and caught up with Iverson and his five kids in the parking lot.  The former Sixer star didn't directly deny allegations of abduction, stating:

"If that's what you believe and people think I'm crazy enough to do, then so be it."

"I ain't never treated fairly, don't expect to be," he added, before driving away in his Maybach.

So although it seems like the reports may have some merit, TMZ, the same outlet that reported the initial allegations, recently reported that the children were actually returned to their mother last Wednesday.

The report states that Iverson appeared in court last Wednesday, informing the judge that his ex-wife was allowed full access to the kids the entire time they were at the hotel, and therefore he was not in the wrong.

The judge decided that Iverson did not deserve jail time, and the kids were returned to Tawanna after the hearing.

Hopefully the next piece of noteworthy news about Iverson is basketball-related.
