A very lucky group of female Phillies fans got to participate in a baseball clinic at Citizens Bank Park on Tuesday. Guest instructors included Rich Dubee, Sam Perlozzo, Juan Samuel and Pete Mackanin.
There was also a surprise appearance from Chase Utley, who hosted a Q&A session after the clinic.
Philly.com's Samantha Corrado was there and put together this report.

Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson was questioned by ESPN's Lisa Salters last night about whether or not he gave his full effort last season while playing in a contract year.
He told Salters, and the national television audience, this: "I let it get to me, even though I tried not to let it. I was trying to protect myself from getting hurt -- now I'm just giving it all."

Andy Reid doesn't lose his temper very often, and judging by his sideline exchange with Cullen Jenkins during the second quarter of Monday night's 27-17 Eagles victory over the Patriots, that's probably a good thing.
Despite the histrionics, there were apparently no hard feelings following the game.

Joe Blanton made his third start with the Los Angeles Dodgers yesterday, and it was certainly one to forget.
After allowing eight runs on three home runs in 4 1/3 innings, the former Phillies' starter was pulled by acting manager Trey Hillman. Hillman was filling in for Don Mattingly - who was already ejected along with Matt Kemp.
Blanton appeared to be displeased with home plate umpire Angel Campos, and as he was walking to the dugout, Blanton exchanged some words with Campos and was quickly told to join Mattingly and Kemp back in the clubhouse.
