76ers' Ben Simmons plays one-on-one with a kid Knicks fan

76ers rookie Ben Simmons finally made it onto the court had a little fun before the gameagainst the Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

76ers rookie Ben Simmons officially finished the season without playing a single second of NBA action Wednesday night.

He did, however, play basketball against another human being.

Simmons was on the floor at Madison Square Garden during pregame warmups ahead of the Sixers' season finale against the New York Knicks. Some young kid wearing a Knicks shirt was out on the floor, and started dribbling near Simmons. The big Australian took up the invitation to play some one-on-one ... and the kid had no chance. Simmons didn't just block the kid's shot — he blocked it and threw the ball six rows into the stands.

Here's video proof, courtesy of the 76ers' Twitter feed ... and the fact that the 76ers tweeted this out after all their injury controversies this season probably says something.
