DeSean Jackson said the thing about Washington fans that we'll all be linking back to when they're booing him for some reason in a few months.
This early on, any player with a new team has nothing but nice things to say. They will of course be asked to compare their new team to their old team, especially if the two teams are divisional or even just geographic rivals.
And if the old team is in Philadelphia, you can bet reporters won't be able to wait to get that money quote on the internet, where thin-skinned fans can absorb it, become furious, and then hurl their completely unnecessary outrage into comment sections and calls to radio stations.
So, yeah, DeSean Jackson finds Washington fans more supportive than Eagles fans, which he said to CSN Washington:
"It is different. They're very supportive here. They're open. You know, being out on the field you hear certain things, but they are good things. In Philly sometimes things could get a little negative. They booed their own players. But here you don't really get that. They are here supporting you. Just as many people come to our (morning practice) that come to our walk-through practices, so that shows you something, to not really have a practice and people are still sitting here through a walk-through, they are really big fans."
But Mark Sanchez says that Eagles fans are nicer than Jets fans!
Therefore, the current NFL Fan Niceness Power Rankings have been updated:
3. New York Jets
I think I speak for all of us when I say, maybe the season should just start already.
