Here's some background on the newest members of the Philadelphia Flyers.

First-round pick: Samuel Morin
Previous organizations: QMJHL, Rimouski Oceanic
Birthdate: July 12, 1995
Height: 6-6
Weight: 203
Position: Defenseman
Stats: 46 GP, 4 G,12 A, 16 P, 117 PIM
Scouting Analysis: According to hockeysfuture, "He makes smart plays defensively and good first passes out of the zone. He also has a booming slapshot, but his overall offensive game still needs refinement."

SB Nation says,"More technical aspects of his skating could be improved upon...He would be the kind of player you'd throw on to protect a lead or to kill an important penalty."

Weight: 203
Position: Defenseman
Stats: 28 GP,11 G, 13 A, 24 P, 24 PIM
Scouting Analysis: According to Eliteprospects: "A very all-round two-way defenseman...is capable of playing a pure defensive role, logging big minutes on the penalty kill."

According to Hockey's future, Hagg "sometimes misses assignments in his own zone...can play the point on the PP, but doesn’t stick out as an offensive dynamo or as a dangler of sorts."
