University of Buffalo return specialist Terrell Jackson flew back to Buffalo with his teammates following Saturday’s 34-0 setback to Temple at Lincoln Financial Field.
Jackson left the game on the stretcher after being injured on a second-quarter kick return. The game was delayed around 15 minutes after he appeared to take a shot on the head near Temple's sideline. The senior from Texas gave the thumbs up when he was placed on a backboard and immobilized.
Ensuing X-rays were negative and he was cleared to accompany his teammates on the flight back to Buffalo. Jackson is scheduled to undergo further examination in Buffalo.
He was an all-Mid-American punt returner last season. A slot receiver, Jackson has 15 receptions on the season.
