ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Perhaps Wyoming linebacker Brian Hendricks should learn more about Philadelphia.

Obviously, he doesn’t know anything about the city's college athletic programs.

"Honestly before this bowl game, I didn't know where Temple was at," he said during Friday's Gildan New Mexico Bowl press conference.  “I heard of Temple, but I didn’t know where the team was located.”

But come Saturday, he’ll face the Owls in the Gildan New Mexico Bowl here at University Stadium.

“But watching them on film, they are very impressive,” he said. “They are 8-4, right now. It’s a very solid program. It was 8-4 last year and didn’t get to go to a bowl game. So I know they are going to be excited. …  It is going to be a great game."
