Williams will redshirt

Temple’s Craig Williams has decided to use this season as a redshirt year.

As a result, the 6-foot-9, 240-pound senior power forward will rejoin the team next season.

Williams, who is scheduled to graduate in May with a degree in psychology, had missed the entire season due to foot injuries.

He broke the fifth metatarsal of his left foot on Nov. 14. Williams had just been cleared for limited practice after recovering from the same injury in his right foot.
