Top 150 recruit visits Temple

Sherron Dorsey-Walker, a senior guard at Detroit’s Pershing High, is on an official visit to Temple.

The 6-foot-4, 175-pounder flew to Philadelphia on Thursday and will be on campus this weekend. Dorsey-Walker is regarded as the nation’s 122d-best college prospect in the Class of 2012, according to Rivals.com.  The recruiting website also lists him as the 24th-best shooting guard.

Dorsey-Walker has an official visit scheduled to Boston College next weekend. Then, he plans to visit Iowa State the first weekend of October.  

In addition to Temple, the standout has scholarship offers from Michigan, Baylor, Virginia Tech, Florida State, Indiana, Minnesota, Dayton, Iowa State, Eastern Michigan, Central Michigan, Western Michigan, Fairfield, and Oakland.
