Butler associate head coach basketball coach Matthew Graves said in Wednesday’s Indianapolis Star that Butler is attempting to get Temple to visit the Bulldogs’ Hinkle Fieldhouse for a nonconference game during the 2012-13 season.

If that works out, the newspaper said Butler’s 2012-13 nonleague schedule could consist of Evansville, Ball State, Gonzaga, Temple and a non-Division I program.

Regarded as one of the nation’s top non-power conference programs, Butler is coming off consecutive national-championship game appearances.

Yours truly hopes the Temple vs. Butler deal gets done.

It would be nice to get a home-at-home deal between Butler and Temple. It would be nicer if Temple didn't have to play those ridiculous MAC games.

+1 for a home and home. If it's a 1 shot deal and we have to go there, we better get a nice pay day otherwise f-Butler.
