Temple return specialist Matt Brown was named the national kickoff returner of the week by the College Football Performance Awards on the Sunday.

The 5-foot-5, 165-pound senior returned seven kickoffs for an Owls’ single-game record 227 yards. His highlight was the 93-yard return for a touchdown on the opening kickoff.
