Temple center John Palumbo, linebacker Tahir Whitehead and defensive ends Adrian Robinson and Morkeith Brown were named the Owls' captains for the 2011 season Thursday.
The announcement came several hours before Temple's 7 p.m. Mayor’s Cup game against Villanova at Lincoln Financial Field.
